1UP/1DOWN WHEELCHAIR TENNIS

Up/Down tennis is where an able bodied player pairs up with a wheelchair tennis athlete and competes as a doubles team against another up/down team.  Players play accordingly to USTA rules and only the wheelchair player is allowed two bounces everything else is the same.

Our up/down league consists of 4 matches throughout the winter, with 2 teams of players divided equally on ability level.  There are 3 doubles teams that participate per match with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd doubles team competing against another team of equal ability.  One team must win either 3-0 or 2-1 in order for their team to win.  This is a great opportunity for all levels of players to compete and include family, friends and club players.  Matches are played on Saturday afternoons from 2-4pm at Orchard Hills Athletic Club with a social time following each match.
